We have since, removed songs, updated, revised, edited, rearranged, renamed and started now 2-additonal Albums since the beginning of this soon-to-be released Album. We can only hope that Everyone Receives the same uplifting Feeling we experience, when we sing these songs. May it bring Healing to the

Update: News following 12-19-08's note of the expected CD Release now, "One" in 2009, is Geared to happen. B and I are in the process now of finalizing the means of duplication for distribution. Expect to know more, the moment we do.

It's Time! The newly named "One" is ready for duplication and distribution. Now listed with 8-tracks instead of 10-tracks. Disc reduced after serious thought and proposal to make "Mother Love" track #5 a Single and "Soul is in this" has been placed on another album currently in the works.

We were back at Pro Star Studios doing the final mix on 5 tracks of our 10 song CD entitled "Time To Heal". It is sounding great and all the vocals, drums, etc. are recorded. We (meaning Jody Gray @ Pro Star's and some of our input) only need to mix & master these last 5 tracks and our first CD will be ready release minus the printing, of coarse. The cover art is done also but we will probably change the order-of-songs before this project is completed. Then we will be ready to burn copies. RB in the Background's "Hold On" video was displayed on Tampa Bay On Demand - Channel 340 for a some weeks. It was so greatly appreciated. A big Thank You to: the station and Fisher and Boy from "97X".

Again, no questions things are looking different. Everyday is different and we just want to be a part of everyday. Wow!
Busy, busy again....The Band w/Practice is the full-time job. New ideas in place for the band, striving for excellence. Going back to the Studio, business is picking up introducing us to different venues, musicians, and businesses.

The Performance took place, it was our first Live performance in FL as US. It was not the best we could do, due to Technical difficulties. The crowd was there as well as the slim embarrassment. There will be other shows, I don't want to elaborate too much on it, please understand. We will continue to do our best to please our fans and then us. With that being said, to anyone reading this that was at the event, accept that this was us just barely, but not falling off of the bicycle. Stay True.

Wow! It's starting to change a bit people. The lack of good work is noticeably in our face. "Starving Artists", isn't that what the call the "pretend to be celebs", I don't Know. We are still going as often as we can to the recording studio. This is tough. I guess we need to remember: the fast roller coaster of fun that you get on is for a brief moment, you have to off of the ride. So here we are, this is not going to stop us, slow us down a bit maybe, but not stop us. Constantly writing new material, practicing every spare moment we get to better ourselves and for what we feel is GREAT NEWS, a performance at Dave's Bar & Grille in St. Petersburg, FL. Performing a full set as US and then a closer band. It should be great fun, so come and join us if you can. We will talk with you on the flip side.

Looking for the light: "Dieu Publishing" is in existence, our independent Publishing Company. We want to be in the position of being able to do it all. With the statement mentioned in the previous note of "Oct. 23, 2005-that we can only imagine what '06" will bring, I don't want want to wonder that with 2007. It just keeps going and going and going. Another news update for my adorable fans, Brewski lost his job of a few years, for reasons also beyond his control (the business was bought out). With everything going on we are not asking any questions. We will continue to hold on to our dreams, keep celebrating life and making music. Another 10-Songs have been written! These songs set in place for a 2nd upcoming album, no information will be disclosed at this time. Everything happens for a reason and they are all put in songs. Thank you all again for your support. Things just keep happening! A very disappointing but miraculous event took place. My sister (RB) had an accident, not good news. I have to dismiss myself from all of this just for a moment. I will be back on point momentarily. Keep supporting us, we accept and appreciate your support now, even more.

*Please note everyone that as these notations are being made, both Brewski and I (RB) have full-time jobs. It appears the economy is changing, things are slowing down. Amazingly enough, I (RB) lost my job of 9 years for reasons beyond my control (the business was bought out). I feel it's time for me to focus on the business more perhaps. Surprisinly new job offers in different markets are being presented almost immediately, but not due to the fact nothing offered me what I had. We also have to report that Brewski, unfortunately lost his mother this month as well, need I say more. Take this information as news shared with family members. Understand that we are only human doing what we do and being what we are. This is just the beginning we say. Hold on.

As we continue to write new material, go to the studio, practice committingly, start new business ventures, learn the business and move forward, we know RB in the Background is ready for what's ahead. It's time. Consistency and dedication, paths with findings that lead us to here. New day, new celebrations, more and more new Friends, more equipment upgrades, determined to stay in business. Keeping you posted. We plan to go out of town where we will be performing a mini-concert for our family members at a backyard event. There will be a stage to strut on and an audience to cheer us on. How nice this should be, not major for all, but priceless for some.

Busy writing new material! Daily practice sessions involving originals and now Cover songs. Another Song completed by the name of "Mother Love" with Piano done by Don Enge. A dedication song to all of the Mother's of the land.
Preparing for the new year with open arms and eyes. Celebrating our 6th year Band Anniversary with so many promises for the years to come. We hope to keep writing the material that affect us and we feel will affect our listeners as well. So keep holding on with us and have a Happy New Year!

Things are really changing. Thank you Fans! We are writing and thinking and writing. Another song written named "Friday High". The remixed version of a 1999 track we wrote when we partook in the Band the "Whirled". We are looking forward to going into the Studio with our new contact soon. Working up to the point of performing as a duo. Brewski and both are writing songs that fit just us. We are now breaking into a New Business plan specializing in Publishing and Marketing. We ask ourselves what is the one thing we have learned from our travels in this industry and it hasto be the acceptance that "A Band is a Full-Time Business".

Summer Blast 2003!
Breaking News!
Brewski creates, host, arrange, organize, promotes, and performs in this huge outside concert event in Saint Petersburg, FL at the Image Station.
*Proceeds went to benefit the "Muscular Dystrophy Association"
Concert featured 7 of Florida's hottest bands plus 1 National touring band.
It was a spectacular event! A lot of willing efforts, enjoyable moments, hard-work smiles and pleasant attitudes proved the Show to be a success. We can only hope that this is the first of many.

We have come in contact with a wonderful producer/engineer by the name of Jody Gray. Having the pleasure of having sponsors and promotional advertisers. Another 2-songs written and "Smile For Me and Celebrate" at the peak of finalization. Die-hard practices in place with new material being written every day. Brewski now a talented radio host of "Florid-Alive" on WTAN AM 1340 Radio. Supporting and promoting Local Bands, building a good reputation in the local music scene. RB In The Background receiving "radio air play" off of a garage recording of the song Hold On, not the best sound quality we would have wanted, but a big step made that was very exciting.
